HM Chief Inspector, Ofsted
Ofsted’s Chief Inspector, Sir Martyn Oliver, will deliver a keynote address on the opening day of our conference. Following its Big Listen, Ofsted is currently consulting on a refreshed inspection framework, newly developed toolkits, and updated inspection methodologies. This session offers providers, commissioners and employers valuable clarity on what these changes mean in practice.
The Rt Hon Baroness Jacqui Smith Minister for Skills
With the multi-year spending review due in mid-June and the Post-16 White Paper expected soon, these updates (along with the Government’s plans for the Growth and Skills Levy) are key topics in current sector discussions. As a result, we are delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Baroness Smith of Malvern, Minister of State (Minister for Skills) at the Department for Education, as a keynote speaker.
